About

I’m Jacques De Castro.

I am a massive reader (and I pretend to be an author too, on the side) ever since I’ve learned to read and write. As far as my memory serves me, I use to ask my mother the spelling of words. I saw my mother reading novels and followed suit. You see my love affair with reading started early and the relationship is still going strong. I consider myself fortunate to witness the events happening as digital form of reading slowly takes over print media. I say slowly as the advantage of flipping pages still is preferred by a considerable number among readers.

The Digital Book Age is an auto digital delivery of media. As a statement in itself, I intend toexplore the advent and success of digital media particularly on eBooks. As I have loved the smell of my books when I read them, I have also embraced the change and challenge of reading eBooks. EBooks are here to stay and it is my aim to show to you the latest publications and write reviews on many of them.

Your reviews and articles are welcome. Just drop me a message with your review or article and let’s discuss.

“Reading maketh a full man; and writing an axact man. And, therefore, if a man write little, he need have a present wit; and if he read little, he need have much cunning to seem to know which he doth not.”- Francis Bacon
